Are you currently or have you been a member of the US armed forces? No? Then it’s no Medal of Honor: Warfighter – Military Edition for you.
Said edition will only be available through the military-only online store GovX, and comes complete with the Limited Edition along with exclusive in-game unlocks, a camouflage pattern from EA’s new Project Honor charity initiative among them, the publisher has announced.
In addition, weapon and gear manufacturers such as Kaenon, London Bridge Trading, Magpul, SureFire and Mechanix Wear — whose products will be featured in the game — will be donating to the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. MOH branded merchandise will also be sold, with all proceeds going to military charities.
Says John Carney Jr., president of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, of the arrangement: “This partnership with EA and Medal of Honor will raise awareness on the work we do to help the families of fallen Special Operations warriors and facilitate contributions that help provide college scholarships for surviving children and financial assistance to families of severely wounded special operations warriors”
“This is a great way to give back to some of our country’s greatest warriors.”
Warfighter ships in October.
