Microsoft’s NUads — or Natural User Interface Ads — the Kinect-enabled advertisements the company revealed last year, has found its first customers.
This fall, expect 30-second ad spots to pop up on Xbox Live from the likes of Toyota, Unilever and Samsung Mobile USA, and ad agencies are hyped: “The creative possibilities of NUads are endless,” says John Lisko, executive communications director at Saatchi & Saatchi LA for Toyota.
“We can take a 30-second TV spot and customize it for NUads to get an immediate response from Toyota’s customer. It allows customers to participate with our advertising, which is really exciting. The interactivity of NUads is leading the industry and changing the way we’re connecting with our customers.”
