The beast grows; the Call of Duty franchise now has yet another studio at its beck and call.
Known for Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero games, Neversoft has been tapped to create content for the shooter series. As it’s explained on the studio’s website (via): “We have molded our team into a crack squad of eager developers ready to push the First Person Action genre in support of Activision’s Call of Duty franchise.”
How they’ll be doing that is unclear for now. They could be supporting the existing and in-development games in some way or, with rumors that the studio has been working on a shooter for over two years now, maybe even developing their own game.
With the amount of interest the franchise has at the moment, such details will surely emerge.
