If you saw the Sony press conference at E3, you know that there was no word about the PlayStation 4, despite suggestions they would be showing off new hardware. PlayStation CEO Andrew House explains that Sony will keep its lips sealed about their next console until it can show significant advances over the PlayStation 3.
“The right time to talk about new advances in hardware is when you can demonstrate a significant leap on the current experience, and something that is going to be attractive,” he said. “That remains our philosophy. Beyond that we have nothing to say at this point.”
According to recent analyst reports, we should expect the PS4 to hit shelves by the end of next year.
