Ubisoft has had the habit of doing this with more than one game in the franchise already — so don’t be surprised if a future announcement from the publisher confirms this to be true — and it would appear that Assassin’s Creed III won’t be the exception; its PC version looks to be in for a delay.
Originally expected alongside its console brethren in late October, an image snagged by EG suggests that keyboard and mouse players will have to wait an extra month, until November 23rd.
When quizzed about the possible change, Ubisoft said that “the Windows PC release date is still to be announced,” which sadly is just an outright lie. Even the company’s own online store — where the game is available for pre-order — lists the PC version with an October date.
