2K and Yager’s Spec Ops: The Line, out this week, will be getting a around of free downloadable content later in the summer. No precise dates yet, just “approximately August 2012″ for now.
The content offers up “a series of objective-based cooperative multiplayer scenarios” that take place before the events of the single-player campaign.
“Players must work together to fight through waves of enemies and blinding sandstorms to complete their objectives, emphasizing teamwork and utilizing a variety of weapons and explosives.”
The Line is out in the US today. Europe gets it on Friday.
