Today Activision Blizzard and developers Treyarch released a number of new details about the upcoming Nuketown map which will be featured in Black Ops II.
The map will be a bonus made available to those who choose to pre-order Black Ops II. These launch copies will be able to download the map off the net, and the map is not unlocked from disc. These pre-order copies will be made available through most major retailers worldwide.
The map will be made available for all consoles, as well as PC and those who purchase the game through Steam.
“Multiplayer fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops LOVE Nuketown,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “Flat out, Nuketown was a blast to play before, and we’re excited about the reimagined Nuketown 2025 in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. We can’t wait to play with everyone come this November.”
With Treyarch promising a more expansive zombie mode, sort-of branching story-lines and more advanced graphics, this could be the biggest Call of Duty release yet. Time will tell.
The futuristic war shooter is set to be released on November 13.
