At last year’s E3, Gearbox announced a new Brothers In Arms title that shocked the crowd. Furious Four vastly deviated from its original dark, realistic, story-driven, teamwork-focused roots and took on a more action-heavy, comedic theme.
Details have been scarce since then and Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford alludes that things will continue to be scarce until 2013. “It’s evolved quite a lot, and it’s seems like it’s going to evolve some more, so we won’t be talking about it again until we know what it’s evolving into.”
The mixed response to Furious Four most likely sparked a few changes to the title, but we’ll have to wait until next year to see what the next Brothers In Arms will look like.
The game was originally announced for a 2012 release.
