Despite being announced as a studio to be working on “all handheld [and] iOS versions of Call of Duty,” Activision Leeds’ first project is something else entirely: a remake of Pitfall.
Activision’s Martyn Brown has confirmed that the UK-based outfit has been working on the game since being set up earlier in the year to mark its big three-oh anniversary.
In his own words to MCV: “The first game we are making is in fact Pitfall, which is 30 years old this year. We’ve been working on Pitfall since earlier in the year when we set up and it has been really good to revisit that and bring it to a modern audience.”
No word on when it might be released just yet though.
