Looks like everyone will soon be taking out pigs with maddened fowl on their HDTVs in the near future. Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio will all be coming to PS3, 360, and the 3DS. Utilizing Kinect, Move or the 3DS’s dual screen, the Angry Birds Trilogy is supposedly “built from the ground up” for the transition to home consoles.
“The backgrounds have been animated, we’ve added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on,” Rovio’s Petri Järvilehto says. “We believe that there are a lot of people on the consoles who appreciate a great casual game play experience. This is a game that resonates across a wide audience on many platforms.”
With individual leaderboards added, the Angry Birds party is finally coming to a living room near you.
