EA’s Peter Moore may be in for a promotion. Rumors have it that the current COO could be taking over for CEO John Riccitiello.
According to a Gamefront report, an anonymous source “close to the matter” has said that Riccitiello will be asked to step down after the company’s earnings call later this month. Falling stock and a “general feeling of tension” are apparently to blame.
The site’s source notes that the change in leadership is not a done deal and is yet to be voted on though. But we should know soon enough if there’s any merit to the chatter; the company’s Q1 earnings call will be held on the 30th.
