BFBC2, BF3 lead designer exits DICE

David Goldfarb, the lead designer on both Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3, has left Swedish developer DICE behind.

“It was time to move on for me,” he’s told Kotaku of his departure. Of course, the man also reassured that ”fans have nothing to worry about.”

With no new Battlefield game set to launch in 2012, DICE has plans to keep its player base busy with several more downloadable expansions for Battlefield 3. Hopefully that will lead into a Battlefield: Bad Company 3 announcement for next year.
