A midnight launch event was held for Outspark developed RPG Dark Blood last night, as the game transitions into its open beta . The game features fast-paced fighting action, complete with combos and devastating specials. Many fans of the closed beta wanted joystick and gamepad support for the game because of the arcade style, and Outspark responded by adding support in time for open beta. CEO of Outspark Philip Yun spoke about the decision to add gamepad support and about the exciting launch.
“We listen to our fans! They wanted Joystick and gamepad support and we made it happen. We had such a blast with them during closed beta and all the amazing gameplay videos they created, we’re really looking forward to working with their talents,” said Yun, “Many thanks to developer JCR Soft and licensor GameHi for helping us bring this truly electrifying game to the West. Dark Blood, no doubt, will reign as the free-to-play fighting game for those seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush!”
Although the game is available to play now, the item store and next major update will go live on Thursday, the 26th. The update promises higher level cap than seen in game thus far and other exciting content.
