Indie developer DrinkBox Studios has now confirmed that their game Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack will be coming to Steam. The game is one of the most critically acclaimed titles on the PlayStation Vita to-date, and it was one of the original launch titles. It is known for its memorable humor and flowing sense of direction along with a cool ’50s-era style.
DrinkBox studio also confirmed that the game is in the last few PC testing phases and is to be released on August 15th via Steam. Although it was very successful on the PlayStation Vita, the Steam version is going to include some changes. Some of these include:
- Support for Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud Saves and Leaderboards
- New mini-game levels made specifically for PC
- Support for Gamepad and/or Keyboard-and-mouse movement
- Higher resolution art
- Even more hidden references and really bad jokes
