Max Payne 3‘s ambitious DLC plans have been slightly reeled in. The original intent was to release 7 DLC packs throughout the year, but Rockstar has decided to release the second piece of content, Disorganized Crime, for free and the following five packs will be consolidated into three larger ones. Here is the breakdown and dates:
- Disorganized Crime Pack: August (free)
- Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September (800 Microsoft Points, or 9.99 on PSN and PC)
- Painful Memories Map Pack: October (same pricing as above)
- Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack: October (same pricing as above)
There you go, 9.99 is the magic number for Max Payne 3 ‘s DLC. The packs are exclusively multiplayer focused (both competitive and co-op), and you can save money by purchasing a season pass for 29.99 (2400 Microsoft Points). I am curious as to how many people are still actively playing the multiplayer, let us know in the comment section below.
