Fuse sat down with Greg Goodrich, EA executive producer, and Dave Farrell and Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park to talk about the music for upcoming game Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
“One of the things I’m personally excited about is I’m getting the chance to score a couple of levels in the game,” explains Shinoda during the interview. “Our fans might be excited to hear some new stuff that’s exclusive to this game.”
For the last Medal of Honor game, Linkin Park DJ Guru, Joe Hahn, was brought in to create a trailer. This time around EA brought in Linkin Park to write a track inspired by the game.
“With Castle of Glass, they came in very early. We sat down, I pitched them the storyline for the game, looked at the game, and [Linkin Park] came back with this incredible song that speaks to that community and that warrior spirit,” comments Goodrich about Castle of Glass.
There’s more interesting bits of information in the interview, including Dave Farrell’s fear of grenading himself while playing Medal of Honor Warfighter. Check out the full interview below.
