The Sims 3 Seasons Expansion Pack, just announced by EA, is chock full of all kinds of season-specific activities for players to enjoy with their virtual counterparts.
“The Sims 3 Seasons offers players not only the opportunity to interact with weather, but also the ability to really get into the mood of each season and tell meaningful stories with their Sims,” said producer Ryan Vaughan in a press release, “The seasonal changes in this game offer incredible realism, simulating nature in a way that is unprecedented for The Sims.”
During the winter, players can enjoy a polar bear plunge into frigid waters and a snowboarding half pipe while summer brings activities such as setting off fireworks and soccer. There’s also a bunch of seasonal celebrations and festivals that will have Sims engaging in snowball fights, dances and apple bobbing competitions.
Of course, as the seasons change, so does the crazy weather, and the Sims won’t be immune to sunburn, illness or even getting struck by lightning. There seems to be quite a lot to see and do in the expansion pack.
Players who want to check out Seasons should look for it on PC and Mac this November.
