“PlayStation Collections” officially announced, will start with three titles on August 28th


Today Sony has announced the “PlayStation Collections” initiative, which will provide multiple games of a franchise on on single PS3 disk. Starting on August 28th, PlayStation Collections will be available for God of War, Infamous and Ratchet & Clank.

The God of War Saga will include all three numbered console titles as well as the remastered PSP games Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta for a total of 5 God of War titles. God of War Saga will also include unspecified bonus content as well as a free month of PlayStation Plus. Next up is the Infamous collection. Included is of course Infamous 1&2 but players will also get the downloadable title Festival of Blood as well as new exclusive powers and charters skins. Lastly we have the Ratchet and Clank Collection. The Ratchet & Clank collection will feature the three PS2 games, an early demo for the upcoming Sly Cooper game and a special avatar for your PSN account.
