Final Fantasy VII returns to PC

Fans of classic Japanese role-playing games will be happy to know that Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII is now available for download on PC. Originally released for the PSX in 1997, Final Fantasy VII is widely considered one of the best RPGs ever and most would consider it a bargain at the $11.99 that Square Enix is asking for.

Of course, as with any re-release, the PC version of FF VII is not without its bonus features. Players will be treated to 36 PC-exclusive achievements as well as the ability to save their progress on a cloud and continue from any other computer with an internet connection.

There’s also the option to boost character stats to gain an extra edge, but everyone knows that true fans would never do that. Right?

Players can get Final Fantasy VII by going to Square-Enix’s online store.
