Taking it easy in Grand Theft Auto: V

Last time, Rockstar surprised fans with three new screens showing just three of the ways you’ll be able to get from A to B in Grand Theft Auto: V. Today we get to take three brand new looks at San Andreas from Rockstar’s “Leisure” album.

Dirt Biking: Well, the cat’s out of the bag.  A fourth mode of transport – not like we didn’t know motorbikes were available.  What impresses us most, though, is the range of scenery.  You see absolutely no skyline, and knowing how widespread California mountains are, we can only imagine the scope of this game.

Suburban Lifestyle: Rumors are flying about that the main character will be one coming from luxury this time around, so is this one of the potential safehouses?  And if those prove to be false?  What’s going to stop you from breaking in and engaging in a lovely game of squash, anyhow?  Once again, going back to the wide range of locations: so far we’ve seen mountains, the city, suburban neighborhoods, the beach, and now what looks like the palisades.  We can’t wait to dig through this sandbox…

Skydiving: Introduced in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and returning in Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony, skydiving has been a key element in several iconic missions, and it looks like Rockstar is just showing off with this picture.  What really impresses is the gorgeous river that splits the canyon down the middle.  The company is always hiding secrets in their games, and we can only imagine what Easter Eggs the Rockstar Bunny has left hidden for us throughout this spectacular scenery.

Hopefully we can get a few more batches of screens from Grand Theft Auto: V. A release date has yet to be announced, and with these images looking as good as they do, the game may not see launch until the next generation of systems.
