Warface receives Best Social/Casual/Online Game award at Gamescom 2012

 

Crytek developed F2P shooter Warface is already gaining momentum, receiving an award at this years Gamescom. The game was the recipient of the Best Social/Casual/Online Game award at the event, receiving praise from many attendees.

Cevat Yerli, CEO and founder of Crytek talked about receiving the award.

“We’re excited that Warface has been recognised with this award,” said Yerli. “At its core, Warface is a new social first-person shooter experience that invites players and their friends of all levels to come together and discover Crytek quality for free. This award underlines what we saw on the show floor in Cologne; that Warface is being viewed favorably by everyone looking for something new in online multiplayer gaming.”
