PS Vita to receive PSone classics

The PS Vita will be receiving support for PSone classic titles tommorow, this according to MonkeyPaw Games. With system update v1.80 going live tomorrow, a number of PSone titles will be playable on the Vita.

The titles that will be made available include Alundra, Vanguard Bandits, Arc the Lad I and II, and one of my personal favorites, Tomba!.

“With these fine classics soon available on PS®Vita, gamers will have access to our best RPG and action titles,” said John Greiner, president of MonkeyPaw Games. “Games like Tomba!Arc the Ladand Alundra are a blast to play on the go.  And now gamers can easily share these classic PlayStation® experiences with their friends.”

If you’re a fan of the PSone, this is encouraging news. Hopefully we will see a plethora of great PSone titles made available for the Vita in the near future. What PSone games would you like to see made available for purchase on the Vita? Let us know in the comments section below.
