A playable demo of the upcoming Formula One racing sim F1 2012 will be available for download this week.
The demo will let you have a taste of two new game modes: Young Driver Test and Season Challenge. The former is based on a real event held at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 circuit, where drivers with a bit of racing experience get the chance to drive an F1 race car, and undergo a series of racing tests. The latter is a mode where you’ll compete with other racers to make it to the top in a tournament that spans 10 races. In the demo, you’ll be able to play through one race at the legendary 3.6 mile Monza circuit in Italy.
A demo gameplay video has also been released by Codemasters displaying the game’s ridiculously realistic visuals.
The demo is available for download today (September 10th) in Europe and North America for the Xbox 360, while PC players and North American Playstation 3 players will be getting the demo tomorrow (September 11th). European Playstation 3 players will be able to download the demo on September 12th.
F1 2012 will be available in stores on September 21st for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
