Skyrim PS3 DLC is Bethesda’s problem, not ours… I guess.

Those of of you who have been ripping through Skyrim: Dawnguard on PC and Xbox 360 must be pretty happy with your purchase. The gamer community has been touting the awesomeness of the DLC for quite awhile now. And with Hearthfire, the newest Bethesda expansion pack for their epic RPG, releasing in the next week (the PC version is currently available on Steam), there’s only one thing that we could possibly ask of the company…

Where the hell are the PS3 versions?

No expansions for Skyrim have been released for PS3. But it’s actually much worse. No expansions for Skyrim have been ANNOUNCED for PS3.

Luckily, Bethesda’s VP of public relations and marketing, Pete Hines, responded to our concerns with an informative tweet, according to

“We’ve never blamed anyone or anything. It’s our problem, and it’s on us to solve it.”

The “anyone or anything” he’s referring to is Sony. No, it’s not Sony’s fault that the expansions for PS3 are non-existent.

Good to know.

Unfortunately, performance issues plague the content on the PS3 and Bethesda is not sure there is a solution to the problem.

So the issues aren’t Sony’s fault. It’s all on you, Bethesda.

But here’s a question, if I bought this game for PS3, doesn’t the fact that I don’t get to play the expansions really make the whole situation my problem?
