Ubisoft have announced that they are working with writer Nathan Edmondson and artist Marc Laming on a graphic novel titled Splinter Cell Echoes.
The novel will fill players in on the events between Conviction and the upcoming Blacklist, and will shed light on some previosuly unseen aspects of Sam Fisher and the overall Splinter Cell universe.
Nathan Edmondson and Marc Laming are pretty well known figures in the comic book industry. Edmondson is known primarily for his novels Olympus and The Activity, while Laming is an artist who has worked alongside Edmondson and contributed quite a bit to DC Comics. Ubisoft director Pat Redding said that Laming and Edmondson were able to bring in a sense of authenticity and realism that he felt was perfect for a novel set in the Splinter Cell universe.
Echoes is slated for a release some time during Spring of 2013.
