Atari mobile lineup include RollerCoaster Tycoon, Dungeons & Dragons

The RollerCoaster Tycoon and Dungeons & Dragons franchises are now set hit to iOS and Android. Atari announced today that it will be rolling out some new iterations of these classics for mobile gamers to get their hands on. Additionally, they also announced a new social casino experience in Atari Casino (read more information about casino reviews), which sounds like a experience along the lines of mobile Zynga titles, with whom they just released Super Bunny Breakout. Here is the list of games announced:

– Dungeons & Dragons: Warbands (iPad – $2.99, December; Steam, Facebook and Android coming soon)

– RollerCoaster Tycoon (iOS and Android, Q1 2013)

– Atari Casino (iOS – FREE, Q4 2012)

– Outlaw (iOS – FREE, November)

– Centipede®: Origins v1.3 Update (iOS – FREE, November)

As a huge RollerCoaster Tycoon fan, a mobile version of this game sounds intriguing. Atari says it is based off the original RollerCoaster Tycoon, but will include modern features like sharing track designs with friends. Dungeons & Dragons: Warbands is a turn-based real time strategy set in the Forgotten Realms universe. Warbands will include a single player campaign as well as multiplayer, in which players duke it out against other factions to secure control of Zhentil Keep. Needless to say, I’ll be keeping my eye out for these two games to hit the App Store in the coming months.
