With the controversial news of George Lucas retiring and selling his company, “LucasArts” to a little empire you might have heard of named Disney, many questions have been tossed around in the aftermath. Sure, many Star Wars fans (like myself) who are passionate about the movies, books and games are outraged, but what’s done is done and one of the questions asked is, “What’s next for Star Wars?”. The Star Wars franchise is no doubt one of the biggest of all time, filled with countless books, pen and paper RPGs and even disco albums (Oh boy!), but one of the most popular mediums are the Star Wars video games. There have been so many great games set in the vast universe of Star Wars like Star Wars: Dark Forces, Shadows of the Empire and Battlefront, and the most recent digital adventure announced is Star Wars: 1313, a third-person action title that arguably was one of the most talked about games shown at this past E3. Now with the future of projects in development before the sale in question, it has been confirmed that they are going forward like normal. The big sigh of relief has passed and now it’s time to look forward to this next chapter in the story from a galaxy far, far away.
