Irrational Games has shared with us the official boxart for Bioshock Infinite recently and I have to say… I have mixed feelings about it. Seems I’m not the only one that feels that way too. After talking with a few friends about it and looking around forums to see how it is being received, it looks as though there are plenty of people who don’t like this boxart.
Mainly because Elizabeth is nowhere to be found and the guy on the cover (known as Booker DeWitt) who isn’t even seen for the most part in the games. It does seem kind of silly since Big Daddy was featured on the first two covers, but here we don’t have Elizabeth or Songbird present. Not only that, but a few people are a bit disappointed that the advertisement of Bioshock content (only found on the PS3 version to my knowledge) on the cover is rather unnecessary and only detracts from the boxart.
Having said all of that though, how do you feel about it?
Bioshock Infinite will release for Playstation 3, XBOX 360, and PC on February 26, 2013. Check out the gallery below for pictures of the boxart for all consoles.
