Call of Duty: Black Ops II‘s first piece of DLC is now available (as evidenced by Activision’s new trailer), provided you fall under a very specific category. The Nuketown Zombies bonus map can be yours if you own the Xbox 360 version of the game (it’s a timed exclusive) AND if you bought the Season Pass, which costs 4000 Microsoft Points. The Season Pass guarantees you 4 DLC Map Packs when they become available (they are due out sometime in 2013), and you end up spending $10 less than if you bought them individually.
So far, the only way to play Nuketown Zombies is if you buy the Season Pass and are looking forward to getting all the DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops II in 2013; there is no word or guarantee that Nuketown Zombies will ever be available to purchase separately or whether the Map Packs will be as well (the Map Packs are a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow in the future). Gamers that prefer to pay now for content later can enjoy all the zombie mayhem today, and get an exclusive in-game calling card to boot (I hope it’s a zombie throwing a grenade with his limb STILL ATTACHED TO IT). The trailer is below; it’s actually fairly action-packed and funny, and I’m always for shooting as many zombies as possible to better prepare myself for the upcoming zombie apocalypse (because Max Brooks said so).
