That’s right folks! What started out as a fan-made game caught the eye of Capcom and has been made into a full game. And it’s FREE!
To celebrate his 25th anniversary, the blue bomber must take on the Street Fighters who are also celebrating their 25th anniversary. The 8-bit game features several classic levels, but the bosses have been replaced with Street Fighter characters including Ryu, Blanka, and Chun-Li. Mega Man has also received a new set of weapons to help him take on his new foes.
According to a blog post on Capcom Unity, Capcom decided to bring the fans that were working on the game in and let them create the real deal.
