The latest build of Dust 514, called “Chromosome”, has been released.
In an official blog post, CCP developers announced that “Chromosome” brings several major improvements to the game, ranging from bug fixes to a new location-aware inventory system.
More importantly however, Chromosome will allow players to call in orbital strikes from EVE Online players currently in CCP’s test servers. We’re finally going to get a taste of the badassery that CCP promised us years ago when they first unveiled Dust 514!
CCP have also announced that Chromosome will be the final build before the game enters open beta.
Dust 514 is set for release sometime in 2013, and will be free-to-play with the addition of micro-transactions.
