Only a few days err…few hours after the announcement of a Kickstarter campaign for the “GameStick”, PlayJam said that they have reached their $100,000 funding target!
The developers said that they were “taken aback” by the overwhelming amount of support which their project managed to draw in just over a day.
In response, they treated their fans to the tasty piece of news that users will be able to hack the GameStick through an optional firmware update that will be available in September, following the device’s planned release this coming April.
To support the development the development of this new console, which will be priced at just $79, feel free to pledge your support at the official Kickstarter page.
