The second piece of DLC has hit Assassin’s Creed 3, so get ready for stabbings aplenty. Entitled The Battle Hardened, this downloadable content adds new maps and characters to the game’s robust multiplayer. These include:
3 brand new characters – Gamers participating in multiplayer slaughtering can now play as the Governor (not the jackass from The Walking Dead), the Highlander (THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE, except it isn’t Christopher Lambert), and the Coyote Man (who looks scary and has probably killed thousands of wild coyotes).
3 fresh multiplayer maps – Players can now run merrily through the historic locales of Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu, and Saint Pierre.
The Battle Hardened is available on the 360 for 800 Microsoft Points and the PS3 for $10, with PC gamers getting access on January 15th. Gamers who purchased their Season Pass for $30 or 2400 Microsoft Points get access to this DLC and all prior and subsequent ones, including the upcoming what-if scenario, The Tyranny of King Washington. You get 25% savings versus buying all the DLC separately, so if you are a big Assassin’s Creed 3 fan and are hungry for more, the Season Pass is still a great option to have. PC gamers can purchase the Deluxe Edition of Assassin’s Creed 3 to get the equivalent of a Season Pass, and the WiiU edition will be getting this content soon.
