This week’s Nintendo Downloads

Available today on the Nintendo eShop f0r the Nintendo 3DS is the demo for Fire Emblem: Awakening. While the full version launches on February 8th, you can snag the demo and try out the new turn-based strategy game. Fire Emblem: Awakening touts a massive list of characters, all with unique stories, and gives you the ability to grow up your army as you progress through the game. Check out the official site at www.fireemblem.nintendo.com.

Also on tap for the 3DS is Tokyo Crash Mobs and Kirby’s Star Stacker. Tokyo Crash Mobs involves you playing traffic crossing guard in this pedestrian tossing puzzle game. The game’s description reads as follows:

“All Grace and Savannah want is to make it in Tokyo, but what’s with all the scenesters, bomb balls, flower displays, and ninjas getting in their way?! And don’t even get me started on the UFO abductions, or how easy it is for a visit to Tokyo to end with getting sucked into outer space…”

Kirby’s Star Stacker is a re-release of the 1997 GameBoy game which has you stacking stars with Kirby’s friends. Of course, King Dedede is out to stop you (when does this guy ever take a break?), so you have to totally stack stars like a martian from Mars.

Also new this week on the eShop:
• Disney/Pixar Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue (Nintendo 3DS)
• Deer Drive Legends (Nintendo 3DS)
