Dead Space 3’s producers have hinted at a new, “disturbing” DLC. Apparently, necromorphs don’t supply enough nightmare fuel. The new content should arrive sooner than expected.
IGN reports producer Steve Papoutsis as hinting at new “disturbing” DLC for the new triple-A title.
“The team is hard at work on a top secret additional story that will be coming in a few weeks,” Papoutsis wrote. “We’re not saying much, yet – but think ‘disturbing’ to get your imaginations going.”
Word has not been released on whether Issac will be featured in the story, but considering that Dead Space 2’s Severed, focused on side characters, players may expect to see something similar here. Perhaps we’ll get some back-story on new protagonist John Carver or get a history lesson on the past of the icy planet Tau Volantis.
Dead Space 3 hits the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC next Tuesday on February 5th. Prepare your mining weapons, friends. It’s going to get ugly.
