LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes set to Batarang Wii U this spring

It’s time… for vengeance. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games were pleased as PUNCH to announce today that one of 2012’s best received family games (more than 3.4 million copies sold worldwide to date!) is making its way to the Wii U this spring: LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The Wii U version of the game will OF COURSE take full advantage of Nintendo’s new GamePad controller. Players can comb the streets of Gotham City using an interactive map on the touchscreen, and choose various DC heroes to combat crime in the dirty cesspool Batman calls his home.

What is even better is gamers can play LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on the go using the GamePad’s screen, or even have a second player join the game on the main television whilst they take a dump in the bathroom mere feet away. For those unfamiliar with the game’s plot, a quick refresher: Gotham City is under attack by crazy lunatic the Joker (though he is just TOO CUTE in LEGO form for me to take seriously); only this time, the madman has recruited some friends to assist him, such as Lex Luthor, the Penguin and Harley Quinn. Batman is not alone, however; friends like Robin and the mighty Superman will help him on his quest to put these villains behind bars.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is also available for *deep breath* Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, DS, 3DS, and Vita. Tune in this spring for more Bat-adventures: same Bat-time, same Bat-channel!
