Capcom announced today that the classic Nintendo game DuckTales is getting an HD remaster treatment this summer.
The remaster will be developed by WayFoward with HD graphics and 3D backgrounds drawn by the original DuckTales cartoon artist. Most importantly, the game will feature the theme song from the animated series, which is easily one the best cartoon theme songs of all time.
The gameplay will be similar to the original game: a platform action game where players take the role of Scrooge McDuck to fight off intruders in his mansion. The game will also have new elements including the ability to swim in the money bin!
DuckTales will be out on PSN, Xbox Live and Wii U eShop for $14.99, or 1200 Microsoft Points. It will be a great summer to reminisce classic cartoons.
