Most of the attention today will go to BioShock Infinite and rightfully so. The game looks awesome and has been given incredible reviews so far by various publications. However, gamers should take note that the next edition of the Army of Two franchise by EA is also available today.
For those who are unaware, the Army of Two games are c0-operative shooters that emphasize teamwork in order for gamers to progress. This edition, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, boasts new features that promise greater customization options, an intense story and a new co-op feature called Overkill that rewards players for working together. Gamers can expect lots of explosions and plot twists as if they were watching a typical Summer blockbuster movie.
The first two editions came out to moderate critical acclaim and EA is hoping they can raise the bar further on this one after two solid outings (minus the poor edition of the 40th Day that came out on PSP).
Are you going to pick up this game or are you too excited by the prospect of playing BioShock Infinite?
