Head back to 1939 with new multiplayer map pack for Tomb Raider

Square Enix has launched the Tomb Raider 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack, now available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Why is it called the 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack? Dogfights. World War II era dogfights.

Well not exactly, that’s just the name of the map. So what maps are included?
· Dogfight: Dating back to the World War II (see! It does have something to do with WWII!) experiments conducted on the island, this bunker is a deadly maze of brick and mortar that could easily become a tomb. In other words, don’t plan on flying any planes.
· Forest Meadow: This forest meadow is a hunting ground, filled with open spaces that can be advantageous and dangerous at the same time. Hunt or be hunted.

PS3 and PC owners now have access to the Xbox 360 exclusive launch content, which includes a range of weapons and multiplayer characters, including the Scavenger Hunt and Hitman: Absolution themed weapons. You can snag these on the PlayStation Store and Steam, respectively.

Also available soon for PS3 and PC owners is the Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack, which Xbox 360 users have already been playing for a couple weeks now. Look for this pack to hit mid-April and check out the trailer below.
