NCAA Football 14 first details: better rushing, physics

Most college football programs across the country are only in the midst of spring practices, but EA Sports is already gearing up for the regular season with NCAA Football 14. This year’s game will feature a revamped physics system as well as more precise running controls, among other features.

“This year marks the greatest leap forward in a generation for the NCAA Football franchise,” says EA Sports marketing director Randy Chase, “The inclusion of the Infinity Engine and several new gameplay features make this year’s game feel incredibly fresh and authentic, and the introduction of Ultimate Team will give fans the chance to take the field with some of the most well-known players of all time.”

The Infinity Engine is the system behind the game’s physics, which EA Sports is hoping will highlight the “unpredictability and innovation” of college football. More information on the “Ultimate Team” feature will be made available on May 15.
