Today, SEGA has today announced that customers who pre-order Company of Heroes 2 from participating retailers will receive additional in-game bonus content for free.
The bonus content includes a ‘Theatre of War’ mini-campaign that will be available post launch. The mini-campaign will allow players to experience a new single player story from another part of the war. Skin packs will also be part of the content, the Winter Ambush and Voronezh Front skins will be available and used to customize the look of multiplayer vehicles.
Two new multiplayer commanders for the Germans and Soviets are part of the bonus content as well. The German army will receive the Joint Operations Doctrine, specializing in artillery strikes and the Offensive Spearhead Doctrine for players who like to use heavy armor and airstrikes to defeat their opponents. The Soviets will get the Anti-Infantry Tactics Doctrine, unlocking units like the flamethrower tank and the Conscript Support Tactics Doctrine which allows for rapid reinforcement.
Greg Wilson, Producer of Company of Heroes 2, commented, “We are pleased to be able to reward our most loyal fans for pre-ordering the game with this pack. These items will give them bonus single and multiplayer content to enjoy.”
Company of Heroes 2 is scheduled to release June 25th of this year.
