Star Wars: The Old Republic’s First Digital Expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel Now Live

BioWare and LucasArts announced today the first digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Rise of the Hutt Cartel. The Hutt Cartel, a criminal syndicate made up of Hutts, is trying to become the next galactic superpower by first taking over the new planet named Makeb. Players aligned with the either the Republic or the Empire may continue their faction storylines by visiting Makeb and stopping the cartel. 


SWTOR's new expansion features the Hutt Cartel, a criminal business alliance of Hutts.

The expansion not only adds hours of new content from storyline to end-game content, but new gears and abilities as well. New technological devices, such as Macrobinoculars and Seeker Droids, will need to be utilized to unlock valuable rewards and additional story-driven missions. The expansion also raises the maximum level cap from 50 to 55.
