New video for Grid 2 showcases multiplayer and car customization

A new video has been released for Codemaster’s upcoming racing title Grid 2.

The video showcases the game’s livery editing features, as well as some of the tracks you’ll be racing in when the game’s out, like Paris, Chicago, and the Indianapolis Speedway. The video also highlights the new ‘RaceNet” feature, which seems pretty similar to the “Autolog” feature included in that last two Need For Speed titles. This system will allow players to keep track of each other’s records, compete with one another, and provide them with other social-networking features.

Grid 2 will be available on May 28th in North America, and May 31st in the UK for the Xbox 360. PlayStation 3, and PC.
