Guitarist George Lynch joins other musical legends in upcoming BandFuse: Rock Legends

Realta Entertainment decided to rock some faces today by announcing the next legend to join their upcoming music videogame, BandFuse: Rock Legends, is none other than awesome guitarist George Lynch. For those of you unaware of Lynch’s 30+ years of contributions to METAL, he has been in both Dokken and Lynch Mob, and is currently recording, touring, and has just released the new album Slave to the Empire with the band T&N.

BandFuse is looking to teach up-and-coming rockers how to sing and play guitar and bass (no drums, BandFuse?! BOO!), and Lynch is excited about the prospect of people shredding his solos, saying: “Passing on the guitar skills and knowledge I have learned over the years to guitarists and gamers is super rewarding. This is an amazingly fun way to learn how to play guitar and bass and a great alternative to traditional teaching. I am happy to help usher in a new era in music gaming.”

Lynch joins previously announced legends Slash, Bootsy Collins, Zakk Wylde, and Five Finger Death Punch, and Realta is ready to strut its stuff with a BandFuse demo at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo 2013 in Los Angeles, June 11-13, 2013. BandFuse: Rock Legends is set to launch globally later this year on the 360 and PS3, and features multiple artists that span metal, funk, and punk, including: Heart, Pearl Jam, Rush, The Strokes, the ultra-heavy Maroon 5, and many more.
