If you bought Call of Duty: Black Ops II on a PC or PS3, you were probably wondering if you were ever going to get the delicious Uprising DLC that 360 users have been playing for quite some time due to a 1 month exclusivity deal. Wonder no more, fellow peeps! Activision and Treyarch announced that now everyone has access to the map pack, starting today. PC and PS3 ‘Blopitty Blue Blops’ II players can now play the multiplayer maps Magma, Encore, Studio, and Vertigo, as well as the Mob of the Dead mode. Here is a breakdown of everything included in the Uprising DLC:
Magma Map – battle your friends in a Japanese village with volcanoes tearing everything up, including your precious feet.
Encore Map – engage your foes in close quarter combat at the aftermath of a deserted London music festival (I guess the Oasis reunion ended in tears and thrown beer bottles between the Gallagher brothers).
Vertigo Map – traverse a future-like tall structure in India with dizzying vistas sure to make you queasy.
Studio Map – a re-working of fan-favorite Firing Range, this map sees soldiers fighting across a Hollywood movie lot with Sci-Fi, Old West, and DINOSAUR themes.
Mob of the Dead Mode – players take on the roles of famous mob actors (Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, and Joe Pantoliano) fighting zombies in Alcatraz (each actor plays a Prohibition-era mobster, which is AMAZING).
PC and PS3 gamers can purchase Uprising now for $15. Check out this funny duo promoting the map pack, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at how the video was made!
