A teaser trailer has been released for Flying Wild Hog’s remake of the 1997 first-person shooter Shadow Warrior.
Little has been revealed about the game so far. Devolver has stated, however, that the original, which combines gunplay, magic, and swordplay, will be “reimagined with a blend of modern design, inventive combat mechanics, and a contemporary retelling of Lo Wang’s comical rise to legend”.
Less ambiguously, Devolver has stated that our twisted little minds will get the chance to behead a bunch of demons and use their heads as weapons.
It has not been confirmed whether the game will be available on current generation consoles. Shadow Warrior will be available for PC, through Steam, this holiday season, while it will be available on next-gen consoles some time in 2014.
