A content update for ArenaNet’s MMORPG, Guild Wars 2, will go live next week on Wednesday, July 23rd. The update, called Cutthroat Politics, will bring about permanent changes to the world of Tyria through a player voting system.
The update highlights two powerful figures wanting to fill a vacant position on the Captain’s Council of Lion’s Arch. Players will be able to show support for the war hero, Ellen Kiel, or the merchant, Evon Gnashblade, to fill that seat. Whoever will take the seat will have a huge influence for a lucrative trade agreement with the merchants of the Zephyr Sanctum.
Players will be able to vote for Ellen Kiel or Evon Gnashblade to fill an important vacant seat in Tyria.
Cutthroat Politics is the second update since ArenaNet’s confirmation to update Guild Wars 2 in a biweekly schedule.
