In a move that pretty much gives Activision and Rovio the license to print money that will be added to their already overflowing coffers, it was announced today that they will be working together along with Lucasfilm to bring the popular mobile game Angry Birds Star Wars to every current-generation console and handheld gaming system available as well as the Wii U.
In addition to the original two hundred levels from the mobile version, the console version will have twenty new exclusive levels as well as a brand new multiplayer mode which will allow people to either work together in a two-player cooperative mode or a competitive mode that can have up to four players.
Angry Birds Star Wars is set to release (fly?) on October 29th of this year.
