In what is quite possibly the greatest petition ever formed by humanity, gamers the world over are signing a letter to include the behemoth Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime, in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. games for the 3DS and WiiU. Petition starter Subik Cookies of Bantry, Ireland, knows this is a fantastic idea with no drawbacks whatsoever, saying:
“He could use Nintendo controllers and characters to his advantage as attacks. His humorous quotes and theatrical antics have made him into a gaming celebrity.”
The fantastic human being known as The Regginator, who opened E3 2004 with the lines, “My name is Reggie. I’m about kickin’ ass, I’m about takin’ names, and we’re about makin’ games,” actually wants to be in Smash, but told gamers the title’s director, Masahiro Sakurai, would need to approve him first.
If you would like Reggie to be in Super Smash Bros., which should be everyone on Earth, check out the details and sign the petition here (they are already at over 10,000 signatures!). A video showing Reggie’s enthusiasm to be included in the brawler can be seen below (my body is ready too, Reggie!).
