Abstract Games has been given the rights and a level of trust, from the Bit Map Brothers, to restore the classic 90’s shooter Chaos Engine.
In the original Chaos Engine, Bit Map Brothers created one of the first games ever to implement a skill system that allowed the characters to improve on weapons so on and so forth. The restored version, similar to the original, is a beefed up version of that, in which you play six different characters in a Victorian time where technology failed with the first early computer. There are four different worlds in single player, co-op, or online. Like many restored titles now a days, Chaos Engine allows ‘Enhanced Mode’ as well as ‘Classic Mode’.
Chaos Engine will be available August 29th on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux.
